The tattoo on my torso is an Alice in Wonderland collage by Brandon Holt of Uptown Tattoo in Minneapolis, MN. He finished it in two three-hour sessions. It is the only tattoo that has made me cry tears of pain.  I absolutely love it. He took the original illustrations and added so much depth and detail. I am amazed by the “layers”.

My half-sleeve is by Tom Strom of the same shop. I like to think of it as “cloud animals”. I told Tom that I wanted it to look organic, and I didn’t want outlines. He came up with this and it is exactly what I had hoped for. People ask me all the time if it’s henna ;) I will probably add more reds and purples in a few years.

I have 13 tattoos and Brandon is my absolute favorite tattoo artist. He is one of the nicest people I have ever worked with. He seems genuinely exited to draw up your tattoo and it feels really good to know that your artist is really into what they’re doing.
